Eligibility Criteria

1. Junior Operator (Grade I)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Matric (Class 10) Pass
    • 2-year ITI Diploma in any of the following trades:
      • Electronics Mechanic
      • Instrument Mechanic
      • Electrician
      • Mechanic Industrial Electronics
      • IT & ESM, etc.
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience in a factory or manufacturing organization.

2. Junior Attendant (Grade I) [Special Recruitment for PwBD]

  • Minimum Qualification: Class 12 pass (40% marks for PwBD candidates)
  • Experience: Not required.

3. Junior Business Assistant (Grade III) [Special Recruitment for PwBD]

  • Minimum Qualification: Graduation (any discipline) with 45% marks for PwBD candidates
  • Experience: 1 year of work experience in a commercial or manufacturing organization.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Typing Speed – 20 WPM.

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 26 years (for UR candidates)
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
    • OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 years
    • PwBD Candidates: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC)
    • Ex-Servicemen (ExSM): As per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • The exam will have 100 questions for a total of 100 marks.
  • Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
  • No negative marking for incorrect answers.

2. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) or Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)

  • SPPT will be conducted for Junior Operator and Junior Attendant roles.
  • CPT will be conducted for Junior Business Assistant roles.
  • These tests are qualifying in nature and do not carry any marks.

3. Document Verification & Medical Examination

  • Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification.
  • A medical fitness test will be conducted as per IOCL standards.
